The Path of Life

You who are conceived of man has grown as the seed of a young tree. First your root to seek out nurture through life; then your stem or trunk to reach upward to the domain of light or knowledge.

- In reaching up man tries to touch the sky, for in his own likeness man has created god and placed him in the clouds.
In his own likeness man has created this perfect creature, otherwise who would he blame his faults and imperfections upon.
Thus, man claimed his god the creator and lord over all.

Yet man strives to become as his god.

There would be those, man may never see, equal and above this god. They call themselves man, but of a different sphere. Man who once had a god; there still is among them. God is a blade of grass or the tallest tree; a dew drop in the morning, a raging river, or a peaceful/stormy sea; a fragile snowflake or a steadfast frigid glacier; a campfire, a forest fire, the roaring sun or the farthest star. God is all, in the image of naught, created by its god, who was created by a higher god, who was created by a higher god...
endlessly it goes until human kind itself is a god and creates new life.

Is there not beauty here?

There is beauty in all things great and small. Beauty even in the deformed imperfection which we call a body. The beauty of life itself which surrounds all that has been born to life. Even stone is born to life. It has the colours of life, but is of a living which no man perceives on this sphere. We shall not know truly of life until we pass the stage in which we painfully apply the name to in our schooling. This which we think of life is in fact a school. A school to learn of what is when we finally set into the land of the "Light of the Golden Trail", even beyond the "Happy Hunting Grounds".

So we grow into a plant, gaining knowledge slowly. Suffering the fires set by an unknowing being, we halt for a time.- Time reviewed, is the past; lived, is the present; dreamed of is the future. Then when present was Now. Presently is Now. Time to come will be Now. Is Now not all time? Is all time not Now? Tomorrow is continuous and many believe it will never be met. Is today not tomorrow yesterday? Is yesterday not today tomorrow? We live at all points of time Now! For us the end of time is death because the spirit lives forever and has no worry of time.

- Life is replenished and we carry on with that seemingly endless task. We receive of the wind and our seeds are full and fertile. The children of the seed burst forth as we, new entities of old. Yes, we are of woman and man, man and woman. is it all so different in any form of life, we are born of seed and we all have a task The mountain is a seed and breeds stone. The stone is a seed and breeds sand. Sand is a seed and breeds the mountains.

Strive endlessly to follow the path of life. Go your way and let those who will go theirs.. . .

1) If an entity comes to you with a thirst, water that which lives. The payment (be it thought, action, or verbal) is a "Thank-You". That greater than any other.

2) If life is before you with a hunger, share of your humble self for you will a receive a payment of love.

3) In times when you are in need That Which Sees All will remember and aid you in your want.

4) Never lead, nor follow that which robs man of his freedom, for each being is a nation unto them self.

5) Never condemn man of his thoughts (however evil) for his ways are not yours as yours are not his. Your thoughts are yours as his are his. What one finds good may be evil to others as what one finds evil may be good to others.

6) Give of yourself freely and expect nothing in return.

7) Let a man believe in his own ways and gods, for the mysteries of life are many, the forces unsolved.

8) Be as a child, for they see that which we have lost; in error our ways have passed.

9) Love all as you love yourself; conceit is the strongest love of all.
Remember though to love and take care of yourself.

10) Show love even to those who would do you harm. Love and think no ill of them in any manner, whatsoever.

11) Pray with those who pray and never recruit for you take others from their ways. When the need for prayer comes forth all men are equally faithful.

12) Give those who bred you a place of honour in your heart.

13) Treat all life with respect. Do only that which you would have done to you.

14) To give dignity to others is the greatest gift with which we honour ourselves.

15) Humble yourself to all for it is a sign of high order.

16) To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation or the world is one of the purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget your most important task. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

17)Know your purpose, your goal. Until you make peace with what you are, you will never be content with what you have.
Until you make peace with who you are, you can not grow as was meant to be.

18) Know yourself, in what and who to believe. Not of earthly nor material things, but in mental and spiritual.

19) Speak lowly of your wisdom, and only to yourself. The wisest of men says nothing and watches (to learn). The fool boasts of his ungained knowledge and unperceived wisdom.

20) Observe moderation and balance in all things.

21) Learn patience, for to the entity, as to the world, patience is a lesson which each must learn in its journey through that which we call life. Patience is a very fine point upon which the medicine wheels of life revolve.

22) Fear in life is presented to be overcome. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. All things are possible all of the time.

23) Let not the emotions of learning muddy the river of lifes experiences.
We must feel through our whole being, not through our head and not alone through our heart.

24) Do not build barriers, they are dangerous. Learn to be as a tree on the plains.
When you encounter barriers learn to transcend them.

25) Maintain universal flow and harmony.
When someone gives it is an act of generosity to receive, for in the giving something is gained.

26) Conserve all things of earth, air, and water; purify with fire. The true conservationist is one who knows the world is not given to us by our forefathers, but is borrowed from the children of our childrens' childrens' children.

27) Rejoice in death, that of yourself and others. It is merely the passing from a world of dreams into a world of truth, life, and beauty.

28) Live within the moment, each is precious and not to be spent foolishly.

29) Never hold that which you truly love away from its own oneness in nature; for in so doing the love shall lessen and die.
Let your love free and it shall grow strong and flourish. If it stands beside you in the end, no power can destroy it.

30) Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions. When adversary or conflict is unavoidable drop your ego, be truthful, and watch what becomes of it.

31) Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, give thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Great Mother has given you and others and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day.
Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to to be a better person.
Seek for the things that will benefit everyone.

32) Know those things that lead to your well-being, and those things that lead to your destruction.

33) Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

34) Always treat your guests with honour and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

35) Listen to follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude and in the words and deeds of wise elders and friends.

36) Respect means: To feel or show honour or esteem for someone or something; to consider the wellbeing of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy.

- Treat every person, from the tiniest child to the oldest elder with respect at all times.

- Special respect should be given to elders, parents teachers and community leaders.

- No person should be made to feel ashamed by you; avoid hurting other hearts as you would avoid a deadly poison.

- Touch nothing that belongs to someone else (especially sacred objects) without permission, or an understanding between the two of you.

- Respect the privacy of every person. Never intrude on a persons' quiet moments or personal space.

- Never walk between people that are conversing.

- Never interrupt people who are conversing.

- Speak in a soft voice, especially when you are in the presence of elders, strangers, or others to whom special respect is due.

- Do not speak unless invited to do so at gatherings where elders are present (except to ask what is expected of you, should you be in doubt).

- Never speak about others in a negative way, whether they are present or not.

- Treat the earth and all of her aspects as your mother. Show deep respect for the mineral world, the plant world, and the animal world. Do nothing to contaminate the water, air, or soil. If others would destroy our mother, rise up with wisdom to defend her.

- Show deep respect for the beliefs, religions, and ways of others.

- Listen with courtesy to what others have to say, even if you feel that what they are saying is worthless.
Listen with your heart.

37) Respect the wisdom of the people of council. Once you give an idea to a council or a meeting it no longer belongs to you. It belongs to the people. Respect demands that you listen intently to the ideas of others in council and that you do not insist your idea prevail. Indeed, you should freely support the ideas of others if they are true and good, even if those ideas are quite different from the ones you have contributed.
The clash of ideas brings forth the spark of truth.Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in time.

38) The hurt of one is the hurt of all, the honour of one is the honour of all.

39) All of the tribes, nations, and peoples of the world are like the different coloured flowers of one meadow.
All are beautiful. As children of the Great Mother they must all be respected.

40) To engage in a sexual-loving relationship with children, the same-sex or an unwilling partner is abhorrent.
It is wrongful to the self, the family, the community, the tribe, and all of the nations of man.
It is a crime unto the Great Mother and the Sun Father.
It is not of contrary nature and should not be suffered.
One who engages in, encourages, or knows of and does nothing is an abhorrence to mankind.
It is not abided within the animal nations and is not to be abided by man-kind.

41) You must find room in your life to pray or meditate, to reflect deeply on why you have been created and what you must do with your life, and to listen with all of your being to the guidance of the universe.
To be a whole person is to be alive in a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual way.

42) Express your feelings openly and freely in ways that do not hurt other beings.

43) Consider the gifts of the four directions and use them wisely and well. Humility, gentleness, courtesy, and a loving heart.

These are gifts of the Great Mother given especially to you to fulfill your own unique destiny. Know that as you journey courage must be balanced by wisdom, toughness by gentleness, and perseverance and tenacity by flexibility. A person who does not achieve these balances in life will not develop their full potential as a human being.

44) All things are interrelated. Everything in the universe is part of a single whole. Everything is connected in some way to everything else. It is therefore possible to understand something only if we can understand how it is connected to everything else....
