Pau Wau Olimak

This mind of fearfulness should be put in the cradle of loving- kindness and suckled with the profound and brilliant milk of eternal doubtlessness. In the cool shade of fearlessness, fan it with the fan of joy and happiness. When it grows older, lead it to the self existing playground. When it grows older still, lead it to the archery range of warrior/hunters. When it grows older still, let it see all of the tribes of man which possess dignity and beauty. Then the fearful mind will become a warrior/hunters mind, and that eternally youthful confidence can expand into space without beginning or end.

The warrior/hunter who is meek is friendly to himself and merciful to others. Ordinary preoccupations and activities have never stolen his mind away. Since he is always modest, he is never bloated with the poison of arrogance. like a cougar in its prime, he walks slowly with mindfulness. Since the warrior/hunters mind is great and vast, he sees even farther than the stars. Since he possesses tremendous exertion, he accomplishes his purposes easily. Gain, victory, and fame, the warrior/hunter leaves far behind.

Because he trusts himself, he has no need to convince others by deception. Since his confidence never fails, he need not be fearful of others.

The warrior/hunter who is spirited is not caught in the trap of doubt. Refreshing himself in highland mountains, following the scents of the fragrant air, the warrior/hunter has discipline. He always maintains discipline, therefore his mind is uplifted and very joyful. Whatever his actions, they are always gracefully accomplished. Refrain and acceptance are not confused in his mind, thus his mind and body are healthy and youthful.

The warrior/hunter who is unknowable is like a space which can not be punctured by an arrow. Since he has obtained mind which is beyond mind, he can never be fathomed by anyone at all. He is the stone of all stones, the water of all waters, he is the fire of all fires, the wind of all winds, therefore he is the warrior of all warriors, the hunter of all hunters. Beyond external senses in the vast space of oneself, the warrior/hunter enjoys the dance. The inscrutable warrior/hunter gains both mental/emotional and spiritual peace, he knows life and death are one.

I am the nose of Chowala Keh, I smell oneness in all that is. Call me Olimak, I entertain.
